Manufacturing pulp from straw
To make use of the abundant
source of rice by-products, straw in particular, there have been a number of studies
into the production of pulp from rice straw. However, these methods still have
many limitations such as low output, complicated and polluting procedures, high
cost due to temperature and pressure requirements, the need for many types of chemical,
and the complex and costly waste water treatment process.
