TECHMART 2018 in Ho Chi Minh city focuses on cultivating, processing and preservation of vegetables and fruits

A fair for technology, equipment and trade, known as Techmart 2018, will open on May 10th at Center for Science and Technology Information - 79 Truong Dinh Street, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Sponsored by Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Science and Technology, the event runs through until Friday, May 11th. This year, Techmart focuses on farm-to-table technology with the topic “Cultivating, processing and preservation of vegetables and fruits”.

Techmart is a yearly event organized to give research institutes, science and technology organizations and enterprises opportunities to advertise their products, expand markets and seek new trade partners. In recent years, Techmart also creates a platform for start-up businesses to seek partners, investors and develop their ideas.
The opening ceremony will take place at 8:00 Thursday, May 10th 2018. Techmart 2018 has 3 main activities: Technology and equipment exhibition, Seminars and Technology transfer consultant. 
This year’s fair features 45 booths from 43 exhibitors, including technology enterprises, startup enterprises, research institutes and universities in Ho Chi Minh city. More than 100 equipment and technologies will be displayed at the event.
 
 Farm-to-table products
Techmart 2018 focuses on farm-to-table technology; producing high quality, nutritious, organic and chemical-free food; improving labor productivity and export value. Products on show include solar-energy-based agriculture system, air pollution control equipment, water purifiers, vegetable and fruit drying equipment, essential oil extraction technology…
The event will have a concentrated area for start-up enterprises to introduce new, innovative products and look for opportunities to cooperate in product development and business development.
In addition, Techmart will also hold 4 seminars introducing 8 specific topics as follows:
