The solution applies Artificial Intelligence (AI) with an integrated Autoencoder network for supervision and monitoring of essential parameters such as velocity, operational efficiency, and temperature of wind turbines and transformers. When detecting anomalies or malfunctions, the system automatically alerts operators and takes timely corrective measures to ensure safety and efficiency. The utilization of AI in other renewable energy systems will optimize performance and reliability, thereby enhancing the use of clean energy sources, contributing to environmental protection, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and combating climate change.

As part of the Technology Transfer Platform activities in 2023, the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is organizing a seminar titled "Application of AI for Monitoring and Detecting Anomalies in Wind Turbine and Transformer Systems". The event will be conducted by the Center for Statistic Science & Technology Information (CESTI).
The proposed solution leverages an AI-integrated autoencoder network to supervise and monitor critical parameters, including velocity, operational efficiency, and temperature of wind turbines and transformers. The system autonomously observes the operation and status of the machines, and upon detecting any irregularities or faults, it immediately notifies operators and implements necessary corrective actions to ensure safety and efficiency. Furthermore, the application of AI technology extends beyond wind turbines and transformers to encompass other renewable energy systems like solar or hydroelectric power. The utilization of AI in various renewable energy systems enhances performance optimization and reliability, thereby enhancing the utilization of clean energy sources, contributing to environmental preservation, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and mitigating climate change.
