  • Magnetic stirrer employs a rotating magnetic field to cause a stir bar (or flea) immersed in a liquid to spin very quickly, thus stirring it. The rotating field may be created either by a rotating magnet or a set of stationary electromagnets, placed beneath the vessel with the liquid.
     
    IKA C-MAG HS 7 Control has a square top made of ceramic. It stirs volumes of up to 20l (H2O) and runs at speed ranging from 50-1500rpm. Heating temperature ranges from room temperature to 500oC with the setting resolution of 5K. The permissible ambient temperature is 5 - 40 °C, permissible relative humidity is 80%.
