The DT100 measures sound attenuation and velocity of any fluid like material, from water to toothpaste. No sample information is required to measure the attenuation and sound speed. A variable gap technique eliminates any need for calibration.
The pulse technique, which automatically adjust the accumulated number of pulses to reach a target signal-to-noise ratio, provides the extremely large dynamic range needed to characterize samples over a wide range of particle size and concentrations.
