Purchasing
Priority’s Purchasing module enables your purchasing manager to receive real-time updates of the balance of materials in your inventory. Seamlessly integrated with Priority’s Financials, CRM, Sales, Project Management, Inventory and Production modules, Priority SCM enables managers to view sales orders and/or demand for finished goods, the basis for purchase requisitions. The module effectively handles vendor relationship management, purchase orders, vendor price lists, vendor price quotations, and demand forecasts.
Inventory Control
Priority‘s Inventory Control module allows you to efficiently manage all the stages in the product lifecycle, including managing and analyzing inventory levels and requirements, and maintain control of inventory replenishment, to minimize excess stock, improve service levels by maintaining adequate stock to serve current and future production needs, and ensure timely order fulfillment. The module handles part management, BOM, inventory counts, label printing, warehouse control, inventory transactions, and delivery tracking.
MRP & Purchase Planning
Priority‘s Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Purchase Planning module determines material requirements for both raw materials used in production and purchased items sold to customers, based on sales orders, open work orders, or frequency of need. Demands for parts are determined by the MRP, while purchase demands for parts acquired on a regular basis (e.g. supplies, goods produced for stock), are calculated according to fixed user-defined requirements. Purchase planning can be based on MRP – planned production based on part parameters, bills of materials and factory modeling, or material requirements planning for distributors – issues planning based on the demand generated by sales and forecast orders.
Production Control
Priority‘s Production Control module provides the means for handling production, from the maintenance of work orders, through the issue of materials to your factory floor, to the reporting of finished jobs and the maintenance of factory-floor inventory (work in progress). The module effectively manages production control and tracking throughout the production process, subcontractor management, production reporting, definition of work cells/shifts, production departments, operations per work cell, production variables, planning constants, skills, production routing per part, BOM, and part revisions.
Engineering Change Orders
Priority‘s Engineering Change Orders (ECO) module allows you to track engineering changes that were made during production of a part. For every change, you can easily document change details, date, parts that have been affected, and more. The ECO module allows you to integrate part and BOM revisions to engineering changes, while Priority’s system tracks revisions affected by the change, as well as work orders opened in accordance with the revisions.
Delivery Scheduling
Priority’s Delivery Scheduling module lets you efficiently plan the delivery of goods to customers by assigning distribution routes and delivery dates to your sales orders, using Priority‘s automated scheduling algorithms, or to schedule deliveries manually. The Schedule Deliveries functionality assigns a sales order to a delivery according to due date, distribution route, default days of the week the customer routinely receives deliveries, and the company’s operating hours. Generate a Delivery Pick List report displaying all sales orders scheduled for delivery, sorted by distribution route and date, to help company drivers deliver goods in a timely manner.
Quality Assurance
With Priority’s Quality Assurance (QA) module, you can track the results of lab tests and part sampling and track malfunctions/discrepancies with the system’s integrated MRB functionality for raw materials, work in process, or finished goods. The QA module also enables the extension of expiration dates of lots and work orders, with full control of testing procedures and standards definitions, inventory sampling, and work order testing.
Intercompany Transactions
Designed for multi-company organizations, Priority’s Intercompany Transactions module enables efficient supply chain management, enhancing the flow of transactions with automated tools to create, settle, and reconcile intercompany transactions. This module can also handle communications between companies managed on the same server or on standalone servers at different company locations.
