MultiCheck has made package integrity
testing much easier by enabling manufacturers to check for 5 critical
conditions in one sequence. By using only one package for several tests,
this package integrity test method improves the cost-effectiveness,
ensures compliance with existing requirements for MAP products, and
minimizes the risk of unwanted returns.
Residual O2 and CO2 are controlled to minimize the risk of
microorganisms causing spoilage. Whereas seal strength test, package
leak detection and one-way valve testing are carried out to avoid
delivering products with undetected integrity problems. These five
dimensions are crucial to delivering MAP products that meet the
expectations of retailers within the pharmaceutical, food and beverage
industries.
Headspace analyzers:
The MultiCheck series contains four different package integrity testers
that examine 3-5 factors that are important to MAP products. Below, we
provide an overview of the options:
- MultiCheck® 300
The MultiCheck 300 is a package integrity test that measures residual O2, seal strength and detects leaks. -
MultiCheck® 325
Like the MultiCheck 300, the 325-model controls residual O2, seal
strength and detects leaks, but also analyzes the CO2 headspace. -
MultiCheck® 400
4 conditions can be tested at the same time, using the MultiCheck
400. These include O2 headspace, seal strength, leak detection and
one-way valve. -
MultiCheck® 425
Finally, the package integrity test method which is applied in the
MultiCheck 425 allows for operators to test all five conditions using
only one package, i.e. O2 and CO2 headspace, leak detection, seal
strength and one-way valve.
