Application examples for HAVER Sample Splitters
- Industrial rocks and minerals
- Ceramic
- Granulates
- Fertilizer and seed
Mode of operation
The
divider consists of a number of alternatively arranged partitions with
openings at the top and at the bottom. The material is collected in
alternate receivers.
The main advantage of the apparatus is that the sample is divided
over the whole "corss-section". The material has to be distributed
regularly over the whole length of the sample splitter. In general, the
grater the number and the smaller the divisions, the better will be the
splitting. However the number of divisions depends on the grain size of
the sample material.
One of the split samples is rejected. The other may be split again
and again by the same operation until the required quantity for test
sieving is achieved.
