Since the Panel Carocell uses solar energy to generate drinking water, consequently it is regarded wasteful if sunlight does not appear and the water shall run down and discharge freely without water generation. To save the water resources, the panel carocell system operates in manual and automatical regimes.
- Manual operation: The operator shall turn on/off the water supply valve to the Panel Carocell manually corresponding to the actual sunlight.
- Automatic operation: The inlet valve for Panel Carocell is operated automatically by sunlight sensing equipment (ASS) according to the following program:
+ When the intensity of sunlight is adequate, the sunlight sensing equipment (ASS) shall signal to turn on the inlet valve automatically so that the water runs down to the panel system for production of drinking water.
+ When the intensity of sunlight is inadequate or unstable, the sunlight sensing equipment (ASS) shall signal to turn off the inlet valve automatically so that water stops supplying to the panel system.
+ When the tank of purified water is full, the valve shall close independently from the intensity of sunlight.
+ When the purified water in the tank is lower than safety storage level, the valve shall open automatically to run down water to panel system. In this case, the valve keeps in close position if it is nightfall or the density of sunlight is inadequate.
- Purified water is stored in INOX tank. The storage process may cause the micro-contamination. Consequently for the sake of safety for the community, the water supply pipe is equipped with one UV sterilization equipment to kill the bacteria when drinking.
- Excessive water under the sunlight and high temperature can change its physiochemical structures and other elements in the water, consequently, such water can be used for household purposes to eliminate the harmful substances.
