Cross Beater Mill PULVERISETTE 16

rightMORE INFORMATION

  • The FRITSCH Cross Beater Mill PULVERISETTE 16 features an adjustable rotor speed from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm, making it ideal for fast, gentle pre-crushing and fine grinding of medium-hard, brittle materials up to Mohs hardness 6 in labs, pilot plants, and industry. It handles feed sizes up to 25 mm and allows batchwise or continuous operation. Standard equipment includes a 5-liter collecting vessel with filter hose, with a 30-liter option available for larger volumes. Final particle size depends on the bottom sieve and material properties, often reaching below 100 µm after initial grinding. The mill uses impact, friction, and shearing forces for comminution. For safety, if the quick-clamping lock opens unintentionally, a switch activates the motor brake to stop the rotor immediately, ensuring secure operation.
