In June, 2021, at Hochiminh City Technology Transfer Portal - 79 Truong Dinh Street, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Hochiminh City, Techmart Post-harvest Technology 2021 will take place. The event attracts hundreds of equipments and technologies from 50 businesses, universities and institutions, in order to advertise and promote technological trading.

The Vietnam Technology and Equipment Market (Techmart) is an annual event organized by Center for Statistics and Science and Technology Information of Hochiminh City (CESTI) in order to help introduce products of research institutes, universities and technological businesses into the market to meet the demand for applied technology of businesses. In recent years, Techmart has also been an opportunity for start-ups to find investors and partners in order to develop their products, ideas and promote businesses. Techmart Post-harvest Technology 2021 focuses on introducing technologies and equipments which serve to preserve, package, process… agricultural products and foodstuffs, resulting in products with better quality, therefore raising businesses’ competitiveness.

Techmart Post-harvest Technology 2021 consists of 3 main parts:

- Exhibition: 50 stands with hundreds of technologies and equipments;

- Demonstration and conferences: 14 topics, including technological debates with experts and technology introductions from businesses;

-  Consultation with experts: 8 standing experts ready to answer questions about the preserving, processing, packaging, testing  products, as well as intellectual property laws from individuals and businesses interested in learning about or investing in the latest technologies.
